2019年5月，FaZe旗下的大逃杀游戏实况主“Tfue（英语：Tfue）”特纳·坦尼（Turner Tenney）向FaZe提出法律诉讼，称该战队剥夺其商机，没有支付他应得的赞助费以及取走了自己80%的收益。坦尼还声称，FaZe的一些成员在他未成年时曾鼓励其赌博和喝酒。FaZe发表声明否认指控，指出他们没有在坦尼的的锦标赛奖金或社交媒体收入上取走过一分一毫[21][22][23]。同年8月1日，FaZe在纽约向坦尼提起联邦诉讼，指控他单方面违反合约，企图贬低公司并试图创立一个反电竞的组织，同时还把其合同的机密资讯直接泄露给媒体[24]。

队员牵涉加密货币诈骗

2021年6月，FaZe的实况主Frazier Khattri（通称“Faze Kay”）与其他FaZe队员宣传名为“SaveTheKids”的加密货币旨在资助贫穷儿童，但在该货币刚推出市面后便迅速值崩，导致所有手持该货币的投资者蒙受经济损失。有自媒体调查发现与Kay和其有关联的人士在货币上市前，临时将货币的转售冷却时间大幅下调为1分钟，让暗地里手持大量货币的FaZe人员能在极短时间内将手上的货币抛售获利，这行为被指为是加密货币交易流行以来常见的“拉地毯”（rug pull）金融诈骗。事件曝光后FaZe解雇Kay并暂停其余三名涉事队员的活动，并否认事前知晓相关内情[25]。
