”Everything great that ever happened in this world happened first in somebody’s imagination.” – Astrid Lindgren, 1958
About me
Hello, I am a cultural anthropologist, especially interested in open cultural heritage data and its re-use as well as the social and cultural history of the 19th and 20th century. I mostly edit on the English, German and Swedish Wikipedia and on Wikidata to include women's history and GLAM information. Besides that, I try to be an active contributor to Wiki Loves Monuments and Wiki Loves Earth.
My work
I am an Open GLAM advocate, trying to open up cultural heritage and arts institutions by digital means, helping museums and other institutions to share their knowledge and collections with the world. I currently work at Sörmlands museum in Sweden. As part of this and former roles, I do contribute with paid contributions from time to time (see below). Since 2022, I am a board member of Wikimedia Deutschland.
Since 2021-04 At Sörmlands museum, a regional museum in Sweden, my role entails working with the museum's digitized collections and finding new ways of outreach. Hence, I write or enhance articles on Swedish or English Wikipedia or add information to Wikidata on subjects that are related to our collections.
Swedish National Heritage Board
2019-06 - 2020-09 At the Swedish National Heritage Board, I was with the team around the open cultural heritage aggregator SOCH (Swedish Open Cultural Heritage). As part of this role, I lobbied for the use of open licenses in GLAM institutions, took part in Wikimania 2019 in Stockholm, and contributed to Swedish and English Wikipedia as well as Wikidata.
