藥用價值

黃芩苷存在於草藥雙黃連[1]小柴胡湯[3]中。

黃芩苷及其糖苷配基黃芩素都是苯二氮䓬受體正別構調節劑英語positive allosteric modulator[4][5][6]小鼠實驗表明黃芩苷是抗焦慮藥,但不是鎮靜劑肌肉鬆弛劑[7][8]黃芩和盔狀黃芩的抗焦慮作用可能源自黃芩苷及其它黃酮類化合物。[9][10]

黃芩苷是脯氨醯寡肽酶英語prolyl endopeptidase抑制劑。[11]它會促使胰臟癌細胞凋亡[12]
