緩燃(英語:Deflagration)是釋放能量的兩種方式之一[1],是以傳熱方式、低於音速地緩慢燃燒,日常絕大部份火災皆屬緩燃,低於音速的爆炸亦屬緩燃。[1]另一種釋放能量的方式稱爆轟,兩種方式都有俗稱「爆燃」造成混淆。
