滅罪熱線
滅罪熱線（Crime Stoppers、Crimestoppers）是一個讓群眾匿名舉報犯罪活動的社區計劃，通常由非營利組織或警察管理，獨立於緊急救難電話號碼系統或其他聯繫警察的標準方式[1]。這使得個人在舉報犯罪的同時不用直接參與調查，不必擔心遭到報復，從而更願意提供信息[2]。該計劃於1976年在美國新墨西哥州阿爾伯克基成立，後來推廣到澳大利亞、加拿大和英國[3][4][5]。
自1976年在阿爾伯克基正式成立以來，美國通過滅罪熱線已逮捕了超過50萬人，追回了超過40億美元的財產。[6]
