艺术流行
艺术流行（英语：Art pop，或拼成art-pop或artpop）是一种定义松散的流行音乐风格，[1]受普普艺术融合高低文化的影响，强调对个人表达的记号、风格和表达的操纵。[6][7]艺术流行艺人们多受到后现代思想、艺术理论以及其他艺术形式的启发，[6]如时装、美术、电影和前卫文学。[3][8]他们可能会偏离一般的流行音乐听众和摇滚乐的常规，[9]去探索诸如流行音乐作为商业艺术、技巧和自我概念以及历史真实性问题等观念。[6]

始自1960年代中期，英国和美国流行音乐家如布莱恩·威尔森、菲尔·斯佩克特和披头士乐队开始将普普艺术运动的想法融入他们的作品中。[1]英国艺术流行音乐家从在艺术学校的学习中汲取灵感，[8]而在美国，这种风格借鉴了流行艺术家安迪·沃荷和附属乐团地下丝绒，[10]并与民间音乐的创作歌手运动交互影响。[1]1970年代，在大卫·鲍伊和罗西音乐这类主打戏剧性和一次性流行文化的华丽摇滚艺人的主导下，艺术流行流派来到了其鼎盛时期。[11]
艺术流行在1970年代末和1980年代通过后庞克、合成器流行以及英国新浪漫音乐等风格继续发展，[4][9]衍伸出偏好于舞曲和合成器并拒绝传统摇滚乐器和结构的艺人。[9] 2010年代出现了新的艺术流行趋势，如利用视觉艺术的嘻哈艺人和探索当代资本主义和互联网的敏感性的蒸气波艺人等。
