入侵怀卡托

入侵怀卡托,又称怀卡托战争,是新西兰土地战争中规模最大的一场战役。冲突双方分别是新西兰殖民地军队以及毛利人部落联盟。 [1] 冲突地点位于怀卡托。 冲突始于1863年7月,并于1864年4月结束。此次冲突是新西兰殖民地军队挑起的 [2] ,他们的目的是要将毛利人赶出怀卡托。 [3][4][5]最终毛利人撤退到北岛内陆地区。
