Panjury is an encyclopedia for opinions, an aggregated online opinion platform and social networking service where users (registered or anonymous) can submit opinions on anything. Users can also include photos, videos and direct-links in order to support their opinion.

Site

Panjury will quantify your opinion into a score of 0 - 100, with 0 being the most negative sentiment and 100 being the most positive.[2] All the opinions on the same subject are then combined to form an aggregated score of 0 to 100 representing the overall sentiment of the subject on Panjury. [3]

Registered users are able to "cheer" or "jeer" (vote in favor or against) these submissions.[4] Voting for or against an opinion will directly affect the opinion writer's influence on the overall aggregated score of the subject. [5]

History

Panjury originated as a controversial internet blog in 2014. After gaining a steady following, Panjury's founders decided to turn the website into an opinion encyclopedia - an intelligent platform that centralizes and measures opinions on anything. [6]

In early June, 2015, after Reddit banned five of its subreddits for harassment—the largest of which had around 150,000 subscribers [7] — large numbers of Reddit users began to create accounts on Panjury causing the opinion platform's traffic to spike by 500 percent. [8]
