林節玄（英文：Tsit Yuen Lam）（生日：1942年2月6日）是一位香港裔美籍數學家，研究領域集中於環論和二次型。
學術生涯
林節玄於1963年在香港大學取得數學學士學位，1967年在哥倫比亞大學取得數學博士學位，導師為海曼·巴斯。他的博士論文標題為關于格羅坦狄克群。[1]之後林節玄在芝加哥大學擔任教員，並在1969年開始在加州大學伯克利分校擔任助理教授一職。1972年他晉升為副教授，其次於1976年成為終身教授。此外林節玄還數次擔任數學系助理負責人。1995年至1997年間林節玄擔任加州大學伯克利分校MSRI副院長。
他執教過的博士生中包括理查德·埃爾曼（數學家）
Awards and honors
1972至1974年間林節玄是斯隆獎會員；1978至1979年成為米勒研究教授；1981至1982年成為古根海姆會員；1982年他被授予Leroy P. Steele獎項，以表彰他編撰的優秀教材。[2]
2012年林節玄成為美國數學學會會員。[3]
