甲藻甾烷

甲藻甾烷(英語:Dinosterane,或稱作4α,23,24-三甲基膽甾烷,4α,23,24-trimethylcholestane)是一種C30甾烷[1]。在地質學上,甲藻甾烷常作為生物標誌物來鑑定雙鞭毛蟲門(甲藻)化石[2],原因是其衍生物甲藻甾醇主要存在於甲藻[3],很少存在於其它生物[1],但個別海洋矽藻物種也會產生甲藻甾醇[2]。
