弼島
苏格兰岛屿
弼島[6]是蘇格蘭的島嶼，位於鴉蘭島以北大西洋海域，由亞皆老-弼負責管轄，屬於英倫諸島的一部分，長24公里、寬8公里，面積122.17平方公里，最高點海拔高度278米，2001年人口7,228。弼侯爵家族時代在此居住。

歷史
這座島嶼在史前便有人類居住，島上發現了公元前2000年女王（Queen of the Inch）所用的項鍊[7]。5世紀時，愛爾蘭聖人馬卡（Maccai）曾在此傳道[8]，後為達爾里阿達王國和群島王國先後統治，12世紀時被大衛一世賜給薩默萊德。12和13世紀之交，它開始由蘇格蘭王室總務官統治[9]。
