柏拉圖主義者蓋烏斯

柏拉圖主義者蓋烏斯 （2世紀），是希臘或羅馬哲學家，也是中古柏拉圖主義的代表。除了他知道是Albinus的老師外，其餘事情知之甚少。據悉他出版了不少關於柏拉圖的演講，但現已丟失的九卷摘要。 ^[1] 他在2世紀上半葉教授柏拉圖主義，^[2]但對其哲學觀點幾乎一無所知。 ^[3] 據推測，阿普列尤斯撰寫的《柏拉圖和他的學說》（On Plato and His Doctrine）可能取材於蓋烏斯的演講，但這種說法被認為是可疑的。 ^[4] 也有人認為，關於柏拉圖《泰阿泰德篇》的匿名評論（部分存在）有可能來自他的學說。^[5] 波菲利提到他的作品是在普羅提諾的學校里閱讀的。 ^[6]
