約翰·史鐸
約翰·史鐸（John Stow，亦拼作Stowe；1524/25 – 1605年4月5日），是一位英格蘭歷史學家和古物收藏家，為16世紀最著名的英格蘭史學家之一[1]，出生於倫敦市的一個平民家庭，父親托馬斯·史鐸（Thomas Stow）是一個雜貨商。
他著有多部英格蘭編年史，即《The Summarie of Englyshe Chronicles》、《The Chronicles of England》和《The Annales of England》，此外《Survey of London》（1598）也是他的作品。
他和當時的許多收藏家如馬修·帕克等都有來往，是1586年創建的古物收藏家學會（Society of Antiquaries）成員，藏品包括各類手稿和歷史文獻。[2][3]
