历史

Pinkvilla于2007年5月推出，由曾在微软担任软体工程师的南迪尼·薛诺伊（Nandini Shenoy）创立[3][1][7][8][9]。该网站最初仅在美国运营，与印度媒体没有联系。2009年，索娜姆·卡浦尔的一些照片在网路上疯传，南迪尼与Pinkvilla合作组建了一个摄影师网，使该平台赢得了许多读者的关注[10][9]。2013年，Pinkvilla在孟买组建了首支编辑团队，2015年设立了第一间办公室[9]。

2020年，该平台月独立访客量超过3000万。同年，也宣布推出两个新的Pinkvilla计画“HallyuTalk”和“Pinkvilla Rooms”。HallyuTalk是首个在国内广泛推出的韩国娱乐平台。[11]2021年，国际票房分析师贾廷德·辛格（Jatinder Singh）加入Pinkvilla编辑团队[12]。HallyuTalk奖是印度首场大规模表彰韩国娱乐节目的颁奖典礼，首届于2022年举办，吸引了超过2.75亿的全球线上观众参与[13][14]。
