自杀预防契约

自杀预防契约(英语:suicide prevention contract)是包含不自杀协议的契约。历史上,它被与抑郁症患者打交道的心理医生使用。[1]通常情况下,求助者被要求同意在执行任何自杀决定之前与专业人士交谈,并在一段时间内不自杀。[2]自杀预防合同已被证明无效并且有伤害风险。[3]自杀预防合同曾经是一种“广泛使用但被高估的临床和风险管理技术”。[4]事实上,有人认为这样的合同“实际上可能通过给精神科医生提供一种虚假的安全感来增加危险,从而降低他们的临床警惕性”。[5]也有人认为,这种合同可能会激怒或抑压求助者,并让胁迫在治疗中出现,[6]造成反效果。
