2020年1月23日，索耶在AMA（英语：r/IAmA）上表示，该剧“有望于2021年初”在YouTube上发行，但如果未能成功，它将被发表到每个人都能观赏首集的网站上[9]。一年后（2021年1月），随着亚当·麦卡尔斯发推文说他见过试播集后，索耶在推特上回应粉丝对于发行日的疑问：“尚未正式发布，但离我们越来越近。”[25]
