美國成立的國際非政府組織
国际更生团契（英语：Prison Fellowship International，PFI）是一个全球性的基督教非营利组织，由来自112个国家的监狱团契组织组成，其使命是通过全球事工伙伴网络，转化囚犯、其家人和犯罪受害者的生活。国际更生团契总部位于美国华盛顿特区，现任主席为安迪·科利（Andy Corley）。

起源
国际更生团契起源于美国的监狱团契组织，由卷入水门事件而服刑的前政治家查尔斯·W·科尔森于1976年创立。[1][2] 1978年11月，在英国召开了一场会议，旨在建立英国分支并赋予这一组织国际化的使命。[3] 随后，国际更生团契于1979年正式成立；[4][5] 截至2022年，国际更生团契已在112个国家开展其监狱相关人道和更生事工。[6]
组织活动
国际更生团契的主要宗旨是透过基督教信仰提供精神支持、改善囚犯的福祉，促进其更生及重新融入社会。该组织在全球超过120个国家开展活动，服务范畴包括精神和宗教指导、教育和职业培训、家庭和社区连接，以及倡议和公共政策。
国际更生团契作为一个非政府组织，拥有在联合国经济及社会理事会的咨商地位（第二类）[7]，是预防犯罪和刑事司法非政府组织联盟（Alliance of NGOs on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice）的积极参与者。[8]

PFI在台湾的会员是台湾更生团契，由宜兰监狱退休典狱长陆国栋于1981年成立。
