- Hi. You're correct that I'm not proficient at Chinese and not a native but I'm trying my best. I think for the website, my level is sufficient. It's good if you can fix the wording errors I made. I've a substantial level of knowledge on the guildlines and projects here so it's a good substitute editing base for the lack in proficiency. I acknowledge that my edits are a bit bold and some editors often misinterpreted them as vandalism. However, you need to give time for a full explanation on all edits. I have discussed through this on some wiki-projects, platforms and discussion pages and built up relative apprehension. For example, on 中国国家足球队 article, I remove some content that are un-sourced, un-related to the article's topic or is not neutral in wording/writing or based on personal view/subjective evaluation that is lacking sources. Other than that, I restructured the article and removed some redundant/repeated information. I also updated many information. The article is old, out-dated and unorganized. It need partial rebuilt for a better foundation, so based on the new form, editors can comfortably make further contributions. - Well, I understand you are bold. However I still want to point several points and I think we may need a further discussion: First, after deleting too much content in the lede section, the whole article looks very strange. Besides, as for the 中国国家足球队, I don't see moving the history section down is useful. Next, as I said above, for the 中国足球运动 and 足球, I think you have removed too much content, a rewrite might be better. What do you think? Also, I have to note another point, most scholars in Greater China actually claim cuju is the source of soccer. When you look at a sport team's article, what you might usually look for is its present stats (squad/members/fixtures) and recent info, content related to history/statistics is related to later. Based on this, It may be more professional/stylish to move statistics and history down and prioritize the other up.
The leads in certain articles is reduced due to unbalanced focus, for example 中国国家足球队's previous lead wrote too much about History and just repeated information from the infobox.
In 中国足球运动 and 足球, the content removed is about cuju as it is somewhat controversially associated with soccer. The articles were written under Chinese-influenced mind so it may not represent a global view, that include the scholars' view. The same article in English does not talk too much about cuju like this. As cuju has a separated article, it's good that we temporarily remove it or mention it only briefly in these articles. Instead we should only retain the information about the sport soccer that originated in Europe. However, it's not that I'm removing all but only temporarily, information about background and source of soccer can be re-added but it need to be more selective. - In 足球, I think English Wikipedia's solution is a way, I will wait a day or two to see if there are other editors who disagree with us, and then I will try to rewrite it as neutral as possible later. As for the 中国国家足球队, I agree, so I think we may need to wait for someone to add more info about that team and then consider moving the history section up, before that, I will not adjust it anymore. In 中国足球运动 I will keep a more radical view, since, this is more relevant to China (and cuju) and it might need to reflect more views from China. Anyway, these are my current opinions, I will wait a short time to see any other editors' opinions and your further opinions. - In 中国足球运动, the main point is that cuju is not soccer and vice versa. This article talks about soccer from Europe and its history/practice in China.
