林明弘（1964年11月6日—）是台湾艺术家，目前在比利时布鲁塞尔和台湾台北生活、工作。 他出生于日本东京[1][2]，生长于台湾和美国。林明弘被认为是台湾当代画家和观念艺术家领导者[3]。

生涯
1964年，林明弘出生于东京，并在台湾长大[4]。他是雾峰林家的后裔，林献堂的曾孙。[5]林明弘全家于1973年移民到美国洛杉矶[6][7]，接受了南加州的多元文化，并对艺术和滑板产生了兴趣[8][9][10]。
1990年，林明弘毕业于洛杉矶奥蒂斯设计艺术学院（Otis College of Art and Design），1993年获得帕萨迪纳艺术中心设计学院艺术硕士学位[11][12]。艺术家丹尼尔·布伦（Daniel Buren）、丹·格雷厄姆（Dan Graham）和弗朗茨·韦斯特（Franz West），散文家伊莱恩·斯卡里及其关于身体文化的作品，台湾新浪潮电影导演，如侯孝贤、蔡明亮和杨德昌等人都对林明弘产生影响[6][13]。
