矽酸酯是矽的含氧酸形成的酯,其中以原矽酸酯(Si(OR)4)最為常見。它們可由四氯化矽反應製得。矽酸酯可以在水中水解,生成矽酸和相應的醇。

矽酸四甲酯是最簡單的原矽酸酯。
