突出角色

突出角色（英語：breakout character）是指系列化的文藝作品（比如連載小說、漫畫）和影視作品（比如電視連續劇、動漫等）中因為形象塑造成功而獲得超出最初預料的受眾好評和關注度的常規角色或配角^[1]^[2]。根據受眾反饋的程度，突出角色可能會在作品之後的故事線中被追加更多的劇情份量，甚至可能獲得獨立的外傳作品而成為主角。
