鈀(原子量:106.42)共有52個同位素,從90
Pd
到131
Pd
[2],在這些同位素中,有6個同位素是穩定的,其中有2個屬於觀測上穩定,理論上有放射性[3],天然存在的鈀也由這六種同位素構成,其中106

鈀-103
鈀-103是鈀的一種人造放射性同位素,質量欠缺約為-87.4826 MeV、半衰期為16天[5],會經由電子俘獲衰變為103
Rh
,並釋放能量為21 keV的伽馬射線光子。鈀-103可使用粒子回旋加速器從鈀-102或銠-103來制備。
鈀-103有一種核同質異能素,103m
Pd
,激發能量為784.79 keV,但半衰期十分短,只有25奈秒[6]。

鈀-107是一種鈀的放射性同位素,帶61個中子,是除了穩定以及觀測上穩定的同位素之外最穩定的鈀同位素,半衰期長達六百五十萬年[5],也是鈀的放射性同位素中,放射性最弱的同位素,半衰能量只有33 KeV, 比放射能也只有 5×10−5 Ci/g,在七個長壽命裂變產物中亦然,會經過純β衰變、不釋放伽瑪射線,衰變成銀-107。

Pd
是107
Ag
的衰變產物,首次於1978年[8]在1976年的聖克拉拉隕石[9]中發現。雖然鈀-107具有很長的半衰期,但實際上並未存於自然界中,也不是痕量元素。此外,鈀-107除了基態之外還有兩種核同質異能素:107m1
Pd
、107m2
Pd
,但半衰期都落在一分鐘以下[6]。
鈀-107從鈾-235利用熱中子誘發裂變每次裂變的產率只有0.1629%,其他有1/4的碘-129、1/40的鎝-99、鋯-93和銫-135,而從鈾-233的誘發裂變的產量較低,但從鈽-239的誘發裂變的產量則高很多,有3.3%,在快速裂變或較重的原子核裂變中,通常會有比較高的產量。
根據含有鈀的裂變產物[10]104Pd (16.9%)、105Pd (29.3%)、106Pd (21.3%)、107Pd (17%)、108Pd (11.7%)和110Pd (3.8%),也有其他文獻指出,經由鈾-235裂變產生的鈀-107有9.2%、從鈾-233的有11.8%,而從鈽-239的有20.4%。
