神经多样性运动(英语:Autism rights movement,别名:自闭症文化运动、自闭症人权运动)是在残疾人权利背景下强调神经多样性范式的一个社会运动,支持者认为自闭症谱系障碍是人类大脑自然的变化,而非一种疾病。[2] 该运动主张有几个目标,比如要求更大程度对自闭症行为的接受;将重点放在改善生活质量而非模仿神经学典范同伴上[3];以及将自闭症群体看作少数群体[4]
自闭症权利与神经多样性主张自闭症谱系应被看作人类基因组的自然表达,应在社会上与其他社会状态相同对待(障碍者社会模式)。但在医疗角度上看,自闭症是基因缺陷,且应该通过追踪自闭症基因的方式来进行处理。一种非主流边缘理论则认为自闭症是由于环境因素所导致,[4] 比如疫苗。[2]
