凸尾蛇属（学名：Pseudotyphlops）是蛇亚目盾尾蛇科下的一个单型属，属下只有一个品种凸尾蛇（学名：Pseudotyphlops philippinus），主要分布于斯里兰卡，是当地的特有种。凸尾蛇又被称为“菲律宾凸尾蛇”及“大盾尾蛇”，目前未有任何亚种被确认。^[2]

地理分布

凸尾蛇主要分布于斯里兰卡的乌沃省及萨伯勒格穆沃省，遍布于海平面水平以至海拔900米的高地。^[1]
