English: This is a representation of the coat of arms of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Tyler, where the fir trees represent the Big Thicket and the mullet represents the Lone Star on the Flag of Texas, thus is also to be sized so that the diameter of a circle passing through the five points of the star is equal to three-fourths the width of its green quadrant. Blazon: Vert a Latin cross throughout skewed to dexter Or, in dexter chief a mullet of five points Argent, in dexter base Argent three fir trees disposed in two rows of two and one Vert (Diocese of Tyler). Note: this artistic representation is slightly incorrect because its Latin cross is Argent (rather than Or, as visible on the diocese website).
